No, fish leather does not smell like fish. Most fish leather doesn't smell at all. Some smells like cowhide.
Turning fish skins into Fish leather is an ancient custom practiced by cultures around the world. Leftover skins from the food industry are tanned through an environmentally friendly process to produce a beautiful leather that is stronger than animal leather and is a sustainable product.
Cork is a sustainable material harvested from the bark of the cork oak tree, primarily found in Mediterranean regions. The process begins by carefully stripping the outer bark every 9–12 years without harming the tree, allowing it to regenerate. The harvested cork is then left to dry naturally for about six months before being boiled to soften it, remove impurities, and enhance its elasticity. The cork is then flattened and processed into sheets, granules, or stoppers, depending on its intended use.
